Young Artists & Authors Showcase

AN ANNUAL LITERARY AND ART COMPETITION

Santa Clarita Sister Cities, in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita, invites students to participate in the 2026 Young Artists and Authors Showcase. This annual competition is part of Sister Cities International’s youth programming, and gives students the opportunity to express their ideas on global citizenship and universal issues.  For the 2026 showcase, students are invited to share their perspective on the theme “Voices of Today, Visions of Tomorrow,” and raise their voices during a historic moment as the United States celebrates 250 years since its founding, and Sister Cities International honors 70 years of building global friendships and cultural understanding. It reflects the ongoing journey from the country’s founding ideals toward a more interconnected, peaceful world.

A puzzle piece world with people and friends frolicking around.
