Tena, the capital of the Napo Province, is a city in the Amazon rainforest. Known as the “cinnamon capital” of Ecuador, Tena has emerged as a major commercial center in Ecuador. Tena lies 3.5 hours southeast of Quito, the capital city of Ecuador.
