Santa Clarita Sister Cities Partners with Fil-Am Association of SCV

Santa Clarita Sister Cities is partnering with the Fil-Am (Filipino-American) Association of SCV to bring a Filipino cultural festival to Santa Clarita on October 16 in celebration of Philippine Heritage Month.  Aptly called  “Pistahan at Bayanihan” (Fiesta and Community Spirit), this afternoon/evening will showcase Philippine culture through dances, songs, fashion, and food.  Part of the proceeds will go towards Sister Cities’ “Dollars for Desks” campaign to raise funds for school desks for students in Sariaya, Philippines, Santa Clarita’s Sister City.  For more information and tickets, visit Fil-Am of SCV Cultural Festival | Filamofscv.
